The ‘Roadtrip’ part of the holidays was the most exciting and thrilling. We rented two cars for 2 couples and hit the road from San Francisco to Los Angeles, stopping for delicious food, wine tastings and a little sleep. We stopped at Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, Morro Bay and Santa Barbara before we gambled in Vegas and came back to LA for recovery.
Here are a few pics of the breathtaking scenery and the wonderful, sunny, wine, ribs, seafood and pulled pork filled times…
The Lone Cypress
We did a brilliant hike in Big Sur where we watched the sun set behind foresty mountains.
The food was vabsolutely eye wateringly (read cry with joy) delicious, although far from healthy most of the time. Deep fried and battered everything is the key.
I'm. Too classy for these ribs..!
The best 'Chicken Salad' I have ever had
Santa Barbara was my favorite place after LA. The most picturesque and warm little getaway. We only spent one night there, but I am definitely coming back.
I will be honest - I am finding it very hard to express it in words or even pictures what an adventure this has been. Inspiring, mind opening and setting free...
