Picnic

If  you live in London, you will understand what I mean when I say that this w/e was the 'Spring Season Opening'. Everyone went out and did something outdoorsy, including me.

My first picnic with BBQ in the park! Like a little kid I was just too excited.

We gorged on burgers and sausages (if you have been following me, you will know what a massive meat eater I am!) like we have never eaten before and then sipped cold pimms while lying and looking at the sky listening to a live band. Do you know any better ways of spending Sunday afternoon? I don't. Simple pleasures in life for me are most valuable.

This is what I wore;

Tee - River Island
Shorts - New Look
Leggings - H&M
Jacket - New Look
'Bag' - Vintage (Bought it in a car-boot sale last year. Still one of my best buys so far.)
Sunnies - H&M

I was too hungry to wait for meat to cook, so I started with Cheese roll.

Don't get twisted, I personally ONLY drunk pimms.
Once again, I couldn't resist. Burgers! As you might know, I am a total fan.

Mason Jar obsession

A pile of meat! *heart*

The gorgeous sky

After so much food we played a little frisbee to burn off those burgers.

What did you get up to this week end?

  2. Your sausages look a bit burnt, but Grolsch is an excellent beer choice ;-).

  3. This looks SUCH a perfect day. I have a very similar case to yours, I picked it up in a little seaside town a couple of years back. I'm ashamed to say that I keep my hair dryer and straightners in it.. S.x x www.theraspberrybranch.blogspot.com

    1. Thanks, it really was!! Ha! That is not a bad idea... for winter, but now - I think it's time to dust it off and lovingly use it for picnics :-) xx

    1. Yes, in a great place called Frith Street Tatoo, Soho. Some of my friends had sleeves done there and were very happy with the artists and their work. x
