Looking back at 2012

Last year, with a few exceptions,  was a very very tough one for me. Strangely, it seems it was the case for quite a lot of people too.
I've had to make some very hard decisions in both; my personal and professional life. I also lost my dear Grandpa, who I miss every single day.  Not even to mention we had the end of the world to top it all off! What did you do that day? I went out and had a blast dancing my night away, if I was going to die, it wouldn't have been the worst way to go, what do you think? Anyway, I am so glad it's over and I am opening a new page in the book of the life of Saule, you know?

There were definitely a lot of positives that made up the 2012 - I kicked a few bad habits (smoking, laziness and some bad friends), which has made me a better and much happier person. Spiritually, I have managed to find new highs and I feel a great sense of achievement in there. And and and.. I started this little blog of mine, which is a place for me to pour out my ideas, joy of travel and food porn and hope I find some likeminded wonderful people. I have already met a few, all thanks to this little hobby. Amazing!
I also visited some amazing corners of the world, where I fell in love with beautiful places people and food. All in all, I came out stronger and I already know this year is and going to be the best I've had so far.

I decided to remember only the happiest moments of last year with only one exception below;

RIP my wonderful Grandpa. I love you.

Happy 2013!! Hope you're all to a great start already.
