Moving on

As I mentioned to you in my previous post, I was going through some interesting and crazy time over the last month or so.  I changed my career into a completely different field (from finance) – travel, which is really exciting and will let me do more of what I absolutely adore.  Exciting as hell. However, whilst I dont mind and, in fact, love and embrace change, it can get a little out of hand when everyhting is happening at the same time. Whilst finding my feet in to the new job, which has been mentally very challenging, I had to also prepare for and take an exam and deal with a family tragedy all at the same time… Try that for some stress. It really hasn’t been easy and I needed my closest to me to be there for me, but you know how life finds the best time to show you that ‘ a friend in need is a friend indeed’? :-)  Some lessons learnt and I thank life for that.

The worst is now behind and from here on, the only way is up!  Also, I am not here to moan, it just helps to write some things down in this little space of mine. I also think it helps you to know a little bit more about me.

So, now that the mystery and misery are over, J I am back with more fashion, food, travel and other little things I love. Sharing is caring, don’t forget.

Stay tuned!!

A Dialogue Conteynyng Prouerbes and Epigrammes, 1562:
Prove thy friend ere thou have need; but, in-deed
A friend is never known till a man have need.
Before I had need, my most present foes
Seemed my most friends; but thus the world goes

    1. I always need to express myself in one form or another, not only at 'weird times' :-)
